How can I bid on the auctions?
You’ll need an account with us to place bids in any auction. Registration takes 60 seconds and there’s a small £5.00 registration fee, payable by credit or debit card. Once paid, you will be registered and can place bids in the auction immediately. The registration fee helps us ensure you’re a real person and a genuine bidder.
How often are the auctions?
We host our specialist whisky auctions once every month.
Can I view the auctions in person?

What are the auction fees?

What is an auto-bid / proxy bid?
Our Automatic Bid System allows you to enter a maximum price that you’re willing to pay for an item. The system will automatically bid the minimum amount required to secure the lot for you. If your bid is successful or you’re outbid, we’ll let you know via email.
Why does the timer extend on a lot?
In the interest of fairness, any bids placed in the final five minutes of a particular lot will extend the end time of that Lot by 15 minutes. We believe in giving our customers a fair amount of time to increase their bid should they wish. Last second sniping isn’t in the spirit of our auctions and by using this system there is no benefit to doing so.
Can I view all my bids in one area?
Yes. You can view all your bids in the buyer’s section of the account area.
Can I cancel my bid?
We encourage all our customers to be careful when placing bids, and the system is set up in such a way that all bids need to be confirmed to be accepted. Having said that, we realize that occasionally a genuine mistake could have been made (for example placing a bid of £1000 instead of £100. If that is the case, please contact a team member by email at least 24 hours before the auction ends.
